Contraxio SC Product Infomation

Contraxio SC works on-contact and provides complete control of target insects in just 1-3 days. Our low-odor formulation protects lawns, gardens, and greenhouse/nursery plants against more than 50 pests, including troublesome thrips and spider mites. Plus, Contraxio SC offers 2-week residual control to kill any pests that feed on treated plants.

Protect fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Mix 0.5 tsp Contraxio with 1 gal water. Apply to upper and lower leaf surfaces. See label for use directions.

Apply for general pest control in lawns. Mix 7 tsp Contraxio with 1 gal water and spray over 1,000 sq. ft. See label for pest-specific rate details.

Target thrips, mites, and more. Mix 0.5-1.2 tsp Contraxio with 1 gal water. Apply to upper and lower leaf surfaces. See label for use directions.

Mix 0.5 tsp Contraxio with 1 gal water. Drench mounds ≤ 8’’ in diameter (10% at perimeter and remaining on mound.) See label for use directions.

Is Contraxio SC approved for use on fruit, vegetable, and herb gardens?

Yes, Contraxio SC is labeled for 100+ crops including; apple, beans, beets, blueberry, cabbage, carrot, celery, cherry, cucumber, grape, herbs, onion, orange, peach, pea, pepper, plum, pumpkin, radish, raspberry, rhubarb, squash, tomato, tree nuts

When is the best time to control worms (caterpillars)?

It is best to control worms when they are young as mature worms are more difficult to kill and cause more plant damage. Diligently scout home gardens for worms and treat with Contraxio SC at first sight.

How should Contraxio SC be applied to fire ant mounts?

Once the solution is made, gently pour approximately 10% in a 12" band around the mound perimeter. Gently pour the remaining solution on the mound itself taking care to not distrub the mound or ant colony.
