The Interceptor Pro was specifically designed and engineered to maximize swarm captures and the saving of honeybees. Our revolutionary new design is state of the art in honey bee swarm trapping and is used around the United States by professional swarm trappers.

The Interceptor Pro is a thoughtfully simple kit to capture honey bee swarms. It is built with a rugged, weatherproof body that is larger than forty (40) cubic liters, allowing you to capture all sizes of swarms. These swarm traps for honeybees come unassembled with all stainless steel fasteners included. Featuring easy to follow instructions for a ten (10) minute, headache-free assembly, our kit includes a hanging nail, tree strap, and hooks (frames not included). Each capture box for bees can hold five standard Langstroth frames allowing for easy transfer.

The Interceptor Pro was designed and built for the sole purpose of capturing a honeybee swarm with the intention of saving them. No tools are needed for closures as it features a Snap-In/Snap-Out closure insert. The dual screen and louvered vents give honeybees the ideal amount of ventilation. Join the Interceptor halves with 3 - #10 bolts/nuts on each side and 2 - #10 bolts/nuts on the bottom. Start with the two bolts on top (making sure the halves are even on top).

From the inside of the back half, slip the hanger (B) up through the notch and attach with (C) 2 ¼” x ½“ bolts and nuts.

Inset vents (D) from the back half from the outside in ensuring that the louvers are pointing down.

On the front half, insert the closure gate stem in the pre-drilled hole and press in the flush.
