1. Please put the trap on dark and secluded places where mouse often appear.

2. Try different baits if you do not get mice caught, different baits have different attraction to mice.

3. Wear gloves when handling the trap so you don't leave any human scent on it.

4. Please don't put heavy bait on the pedal due to the trap is very sensitive.

Use peanut butter to 'glue' sunflower seeds, corn or raisins to the trigger plate of your chipmunk trap, then place it near the chipmunk burrow, under bushes they hide in or under a shed or similar structure.
