More From Wiggle Worm

This ready-to-use raised bed mix delivers everything plants need from day one. Compost improves soil structure and water retention, creating a healthy growing environment. Worm castings provide gentle, nutrient-rich feeding and beneficial microbes, while worm egg material supports long-term soil biology, helping roots grow stronger and plants thrive season after season. Together, these ingredients boost drainage, aeration, and nutrient availability for higher yields and healthier plants.

Simply open and pour straight from the bag into planter box or raised bed.

Dig hole, roughly 6"-12" wider than root ball. Pour directly from bag to fill the hole to within 6" from the top and then fill with native soil.

Dig hole slightly larger than needed for item being planted. Fill with material directly into the hole. Pull native soil over the top and compact.

Broadcast product over the top of the lawn, adding approximately 2". Rake if needed and water.

Can I plant directly into this raised bed mix, or do I need to add fertilizer?

Yes, you can plant directly into this mix. It's an all-in-one planting media made with compost and enhanced with worm castings and egg material, which help improve nutrient availability, water retention, aeration, and overall soil health!

Will I actually see worms or worm eggs in the soil?

Worm eggs are present in this mix but are very small and often barely noticeable. Their appearance can vary in color and translucency. If conditions are ideal, eggs may hatch and adapt to the soil, introducing worms to help aerate your soil.

Is this soil safe to use for vegetables, herbs, and flowers?

Yes. Wiggle Worm Raised Bed Mix is made from high-quality compost and worm-based materials that support a healthy, microbe-rich environment ideal for vegetables, herbs, flowers, trees, and shrubs, improving soil naturally without harsh additives.

What are the benefits of having worm eggs or worms in my raised beds?

If conditions are right and worms hatch, they can significantly improve soil quality. Worms create tunnels that increase oxygen flow, help water drain properly, and create space for roots to grow.

How do I use this mix in my raised bed or garden?

Simply pour it straight from the bag into your raised bed, planter, or garden area. It can be used alone or mixed with other organic materials depending on your setup. It's also suitable for in-ground use with trees and bushes.
