The dimensions of the soil sifter is about 15 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 2 5/8". For sifting the soil right onto your lawn where you need it, it’s the perfect size and weight. and very easy to handle and would not contribute much to one getting tired.

This item is actually fairly well constructed. The sifter is screwed together (versus nailed) with large screws for the frame and small screws to attach the wire mesh. So even if you squeeze or twist the frame, it resists very well. It is reasonably solid.

It's nicely made with bare wood so you won’t get chemicals from the frame. The edges of the frame have been sanded to be rounded off and smooth. All of it is burr free and sliver free.

A 1/4" square mesh wire screen is attached within the wooden frame. Grid size is just right for loose soil. It does an excellent job of sifting out larger items and letting great compost material pass through without having to pick out the big items that need longer to decompose.convenient for recycling potting soil.

I am a 75-year-old woman.It's nice that it is so lightweight, which makes it easy to use over and over in my garden.

This is so useful for me with the type of soil I have. My soil has loads of stones and rocks in it and some are so large I need to dig them out. This is good to have to prepare my soil and is very well made and not complicated.
