Just add plants and water.
Developed by commercial farmers, the small footprint is intentionally designed so the average dweller is able to grow their own food. The EarthBox Root & Veg container measures 17.75" L x 17.75" W x 15.75" H with a base size of 11.75".
Wicking Chambers: Wicking is process in which the plant's roots draw water to nourish the rest of the plant. EarthBox's *patented design uses the wicking chambers in conjunction with the water reservoir to conserve water and feed the plants from the bottom up.

You don't have to worry about overwatering using your EarthBox Root & Veg Garden Kit. As you add water through the fill tube, once the water hits a certain level, it will flow through the overflow drain and into the overflow saucer. That's when you know to stop watering!
Determining which plants to grow in your EarthBox Root & Veg gardening system is half the fun. Use the plant & fertilizer placement charts to guide you through planting the recommended number of seedlings for the type of plants you wish to grow. The aerial view of the container and illustrations make it easy for you to follow along. Each Root & Veg Garden Kit comes with an Instruction Sheet and Planting Chart.
